Black & Blue Rugby

Black and Blue rugby is Flathead valleys high school rugby club. It's open to all high school students in the valley. We are part of USA Rugby's youth program. We compete in the Montana Youth Rugby Association. For over 6 years we have had young men and women participate from Glacier, Flathead, Bigfork, Columbia Falls and Stillwater Christian high schools. Our program is very competitive fielding roughly 30 kids per season. Any one who practices does play.

Over the last 4 years Black and Blue Rugby has won one "Fifteens" state championship and two "Seven's" state championships, while compiling a combined record of 45-5.

We currently have many of our Alumni playing rugby throughout the country including California Poly Tech University, Montana State University, University of Montana, Cornell, Endicott College, George Washington, Missouri Science and Technology, West Point and 3 athletes playing on rugby scholarship at Wheeling Jesuit University in West Virginia.

Players have been invited to the USA Rugby High School all American camp as well as one female athlete selected to the USA Womens U20 National team.

"Rugby is a great sport; it is really intense and fast paced. I encourage others to get involved because it will change your life."...Devin Jeffries

"What makes rugby really fun is that it is a sport focused on the players. The Coaches help us on the pitch but, after that, it is our game!"...Connor Frasier
